Weezer - In The Garage
I’ve got the Dungeon Master’s Guide / I’ve got a 12-sided die…
Yo Rivers, really happy for you that you found a place that shields your dreams and protects your innocence, but that is some weak ass role playing equipment. I’m not discounting the DMG’s use for planning your campaign and adding some depth and clarification to certain parts of the rules (like managing NPCs or obviously the magic item descriptions), but out of the three core rulebooks, certainly the Monster Manual and especially the Player’s Handbook are much more essential to the actual play.
And the d12? Easily the least used of all the polyhedrons. I mean, sure, you need it to calculate the Barbarian’s hit points and great-axe damage, the duration of the Control Weather spell and the odd monster’s melee attack, but that’s already about it. And what kind of dork plays a Barbarian, right?
Nice song, though.
