I started Friday Night Lights a three weeks ago. I watched the last episode some days back and I already really miss it. I don’t think I can fully explain why the show’s so great; I am just going to say that I have loved it more than most anything in a long long time… I only finally caught up with it because people I trust and respect kept going on about it. I never thought it would be my kind of show, yet here I am. So consider this my passing of the torch to you. You should watch this show. *** Also I could do with some pointers as to what show to waste my time with next. What I haven’t seen yet includes: Curb Your Enthusiasm, Daria, Deadwood, Downton Abbey, Justified, Six Feet Under, Sopranos, The West Wing, The Wire (beyond Season 1), The Wonder Years, Veronica Mars. Suggestions?

  1. mootpoint answered: The Wire is the best. Veronica Mars is a personal totem for me and I love it but it is uneven after season 1, just FYI.
